When a group of architecture students at Virginia Tech needed to bring a design to life they turned to the SVHEC's R&D Center for Advanced Manufacturing & Energy Efficiency.

LaVerne Williams was on a bad path and struggling with the disease of addiction. A move to South Boston, VA jump-started her recovery and she eventually found her purpose at the SVHEC.
