If the HEC needs to close or delay opening for weather reasons, the message on the HEC's main number voice mail (434-572-5440 or 1-800-283-0098) will be updated at 6:00 AM.

Do not call individual extension numbers to get closure information since those voice mails will not be updated -- Only the HEC's main number will have any closure/delayed opening announcement.

We will also provide any closure/delayed opening information to WSET-TV channel 13 and WHLF 95.3 radio for broadcast.
